The stunning natural beauty and Victorian architectural elegance of Eureka Springs and area will be the backdrop for local and visiting outdoor painters to capture on canvas May 4-8th. Organized by the Plein Air Painters of Eureka Springs (PAPES), the Eureka Springs Plein Air Festival (ESPAF), will feature five full days of paint outs, a quick draw competition and workshops.

The highlight is a demo/workshop with renown New Orleans plein air, cityscape, landscape and published artist Phil Sandusky. A nightly awards reception and public viewing will be held at the Museum of Eureka Springs Art (MESA).

As part of the May Festival of the Arts, ALL levels of artists are invited to participate – beginner, amateur and professional. The Festival promises an unforgettable experience surrounded by natural beauty, artistic inspiration and camaraderie for participants.
