“Jonivan Jones is a songwriter hailing from Arkansas, who began making music in 1994, crafting and recording melodies on an old 4 track tape recorder. He began writing songs while growing up in Arkansas and learning traditional style folk music at gatherings in the Ozarks.
Over time, he ventured into the realm of publishing and affecting audiences with his compositions, chasing opportunities to perform and connect with listeners since 2006. Living a transient lifestyle for work from the age of 19, he devoted the years to experimenting with the different sounds and styles encountered along the way.
South Pacific travels, Twang and Psychedelic sounds learned and performed live in South Texas to early years of learning old Folk, Blues and Cowboy campfire style songs in Arkansas helped this cook over into its rough-hewn jangly form.
