Wesley Allen Whittaker: a contemporary Indie-Folk-Americana artist living in the hills of Northern Arkansas. He creates captivating song structure through guitar, bass & drums--with a dash of soulful harmonica--resulting in an unforgettable one-man-band experience. Those who have seen one of his live shows have been impressed with the depth of his songwriting, which blends his folksy charm with pop sensibilities and insightful, autobiographical lyrics that convey a hard-won wisdom. These core elements are tied together by emotional storytelling and evocative, soulful vocals.
Some Guy Named Robb AKA singer songwriter Robb McCormick is a native to Arkansas and Colorado. He has headlined festivals and opened up for acts as diverse as John Fogarty (Creedence Clearwater Revival) to Sister Hazel, Kansas, and the Bellamy Brothers. As well as sharing the stage and bill with Noel Paul Stookey (Peter, Paul, & Mary), Steve Poltz (Jewel) & Glen Phillips (Toad the Wet Sprocket) among others.
Growing up he was inspired by lyrically and musically rich songwriters like Paul Simon, John Denver, and Neil Diamond. In his teenage years he found alternative rock music through bands like The Cure, Depeche Mode, and The Replacements.
His music is an amalgamation of all these influences, as well as Reggae, Punk, Soul, and Blues. His love for music is matched only by his high regard for lyricism.
He has spent his life writing and performing music, full time professionally since he was a teenager. He’s performed thousands of shows, to hundreds of thousands of people, nationally and internationally. Robb averages 150 shows per year, including corporate events, private parties, venues, bars, restaurants, schools, prisons, and more.

“The best shows are when I get to connect with the audience. When they are with me and I’m with them and we get to share a special moment together. Most musicians will tell you we perform music to make connections. That’s me. The best room is one who has come to have fun, to surrender to the evening and see where it may take us. From tears to laughter. From clapping hands to singing along with me. I live for those musical moments.”

‘You don’t truly know how to play a song until you’ve played it in front of people. Even if there is only one other person watching,’ says Bostonian turned Okie guitar player and singer Tom Pevear. “Old blues, folk, gospel and country songs are living breathing things, in that they are passed down from person to person for each musician to leave a mark on.
Released in September 2023, Pevear’s debut EP is filled with six of his favorite songs to perform. Each pays homage to various versions of the song while his interpretations are uniquely his own. ‘I’m always listening to music, and when I hear a song that I might want to learn, it’s like the hair on my neck stands up! I have to get to my guitar and start working it out. I’ll listen to every version of the song I can find, add my own influence, and just see where I end up. Im always working on new songs, and adding pieces to ones I’ve played for years’.
A Pevear set will include his arrangements of songs from artists as diverse as Ray Charles, Mose Allison, Rev. Gary Davis, and The Delmore Brothers, alongside orginals and classic songs taught to him by mentors like Jorma Kaukonen, Roy BookBinder, Tom Feldmann and Frank Fotusky.

Pevear has played at iconic venues like the Mercury Lounge and The Colony in Tulsa, Magnolia Motor Lounge in Ft. Worth, and the Larimer Lounge in Denver, and opened for acts like Matt Tedder, Nik Parr, Kind Hearted Strangers and John Fullbright. He plays over 150 shows a year, touring regularly around the Central United States.
