Eureka Springs has “shop local” down pat. Our quaint and quirky Historic Downtown brims with an eclectic array of shops and galleries — and that means dozens of places to find unique gifts for family and friends, as well as cool discoveries that you may just want to keep for yourself.

If hunting for one-of-a-kind pieces of art, crafts or jewelry your thing, you’ll be glad to know that 300 of our 2,000 residents are working artists, many of whom sell their work right in town.

This city is proof that holiday shopping doesn’t have to be ordering online and waiting for delivery trucks to drop boxes on the doorstep. Holiday shopping can be interesting. It can be exciting. It can be fun. Cruising Eureka Springs on a Holiday shopping excursion is not just a great way to find and purchase terrific gifts — it’s a day well spent.

Here’s a quick overview of about 25 of our retail establishments, broken into categories. Note: Nearly all of these mostly small, locally owned businesses are within walking distance of each other. And most will be lit up and decked out for the season.
