Bryan Copeland has been writing and making music in Springfied since the inception of Luna J. in 2008. His original music has a vast range of influences; classic rock, blues, funk, jazz, and pop. His versatility and groove headline a high energy show, and mix with cover tunes that compliment his original tunes.
Bryan Copeland and Luna J. have shared the stage with some big names and Grammy nominated and winning musicians from different eras over their career, including:
The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Robert Cray (Multiple Grammy winner, blues hall of famer, Eric Clapton/John Mayer/BB King collaborator), Jake Wesley Rogers, Maxwell Hughes (Grammy nominee, as a member of The Lumineers), Jason Ricci (one of the best blues harp players ever, played 2015 Rock and roll hall of fame induction with Zach Brown and Tom Morello), Jackson Stokes (tours with the Allman Brothers revival/Samantha Fish), Shawn Eckels and Speakeasy (Shawn now plays with Andy Frasco and the UN) and many others. He has also been featured on local and regional radio and TV countless times; from Ozarks Live performances, to the Emmy winning The Mystery Hour, and radio stations from Poplar Bluff to Lake of the Ozarks. During the pandemic, he just barely missed out on being on NBC’s The Voice, and in 2021 he turned down a recording deal with record label, SSM Nashville. Bryan has recently joined up with Sofar Sounds, who book intimate and secret songwriter shows in different cities across the US. Many artists have gotten their start working with Sofar; such as Billie Eilish, Tank and the Bangas, etc etc.
